As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time, Friday/Saturday in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government airport location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

 

Job Schedule:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, unattended property, and/or potential hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public service agencies as directed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with clear and accurate information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
