As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time Friday/Saturday in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Learn more: As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government airport location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and assist visitors with professionalism. This primarily driving post requires a valid drivers license. You will communicate clearly document observations using computer or tablet tools and represent Allied Universals agile reliable innovative and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors airport personnel and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals exterior areas parking facilities access points and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity unauthorized access unattended property and/or potential hazards and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents emergencies and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public service agencies as directed.
• Complete required activity reports incident documentation and shift communications with clear and accurate information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
