As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time TCO Friday-Sunday in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. This role requires 2 weeks of paid in person training in a full time capacity before starting the shift applied to. Training will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements:

• 18 Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check drug screen and physical exam

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors employees and airport stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas parking facilities perimeter locations and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with applicable procedures reporting unauthorized access attempts and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established escalation and notification protocols.
• Prepare clear accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with airport personnel public agencies and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
