We invite you to join us in this transformation. Job DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize our network infrastructure. This role involves working closely with cross functional teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions that meet both current and future business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security, along with hands-on experience in leading complex network projects.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement high availability and resilient network architecturesCreate comprehensive network blueprints, including logical and physical diagrams, aligning to business context and goalsDevelop and enforce standards and policies for network design and deploymentLead largescale network projects from concept through to implementation, with timely delivery and cost effectivenessWork with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverablesCollaborate with the network security team and design next generation Network Security architecture considering Zero Trust Network Architecture principles, SASE solutions and Next gen. Firewall capabilitiesAlign Network Architecture and technical strategy with business goals, context and use casesProvide comparative analysis of Network Architecture solutions including trade-offs, cost optimizationsContinuously analyze network performance to identify areas of improvementInfluence the direction of network strategy across on-prem and cloud deploymentsTroubleshoot complex network issues, including analyzing traffic patterns, identifying bottlenecks, and propose solutionsAct as a key advisor to management on network technologies and future trendsMaintain comprehensive documentation on network designs, configurations, and change managementEducationBachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology or related field (or equivalent experience)Relevant network security certifications (e.g. CCIE, JNCIE, ACSDX, CCNP etc.) are highly desirableQualifications10+ years of experience in Network architecture and engineering in a large-scale environmentProven experience with SD-WAN platforms and technologiesSolid understanding of the Zero Trust Network Architecture principlesIn-depth knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP etc.In-depth knowledge of public key infrastructure, TLS, DTLSIn-depth knowledge of how Deep packet inspection, Intrusion Prevention/Detection, Advanced Malware detection technologies workExperience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid networksBe able to articulate, compare the vendor offerings/solutionsExperience with Software defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)Experience with Network automation tools, Network Observability toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAt Bose, you're inspired to be and do your best and are rewarded for your unique talents! The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Atlanta, Georgia is: $151,600-$208,450.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
