A close-knit outpatient psychiatric practice with 90+ clinicians and a decade of Maryland roots is hiring a PMHNP across Baltimore, Bethesda, Columbia, Hunt Valley, and Frederick. The practice covers a broad psychiatric scope including children, adolescents, and adults, with TMS and KAP on the menu. Hybrid schedule, minimum 2 days onsite, no call. Full admin and credentialing support — no panel building, no marketing, no prior auth burden. Suboxone prescribing and 3 years of psychiatric NP experience both required.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans
\n
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and progress
\n
• Manage anxiety, ADHD, ASD, depression, bipolar, PTSD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders
\n
• Assess suicide risk and coordinate appropriate levels of care
\n
• Prescribe Suboxone for patients with substance use disorders as clinically indicated
\n
• Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and medications
\n
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and coordinate with multidisciplinary team
\n
• Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, and quality improvement
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Active Maryland APRN license and active DEA enrollment required
\n
• PMHNP certification required
\n
• Minimum 3 years psychiatric NP experience required
\n
• Standard DSM scope of psychiatric experience required
\n
• Suboxone prescribing experience required
\n
• Substance use disorder experience preferred
\n
• Active CAQH profile preferred
\n

Schedule & Compensation

\n
• $140,000–$155,000/year
\n
• Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–6:00 PM window
\n
• Hybrid: minimum 2 days onsite | Remaining days telehealth
\n
• No call | Schedule built around your patient panel
\n
