Shipping Crate Builder /Carpenter
Location: Houston, TX 77067
Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
We are hiring a dependable and motivated Carpenter / Shipping Crate Builder for a busy warehouse operation in Houston, TX 77067 .
This is a hands-on position for someone with 1–2 years of experience who is mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, and experienced with basic carpentry or crate-building work.
Job ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble wooden shipping crates and packaging
Measure, cut, and assemble wood materials
Safely operate pneumatic nail guns and staple guns
Prepare crates and materials for shipping
Perform general warehouse and material-handling duties
Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow measurements, instructions, and safety procedures
1–2 years of carpentry, crate building, construction, or similar hands-on experience REQUIRED
Experience using pneumatic nail and staple guns
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Warehouse experience is a plus
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable with physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn
Flexible with work hours when needed
Must be available and reliable Monday–Friday
Pay: $17–$19/hour DOE
