Tax Accountant | St. Louis, MO

We're currently partnered with a well-established CPA firm in the St. Louis area that is looking to add a Tax Accountant to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their public accounting career who is looking to expand their technical skills, gain exposure to a diverse client base, and grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment .

• Preparing federal tax returns for corporations (C & S), partnerships, and individuals
• Identifying book-to-tax differences and preparing adjusting journal entries
• Supporting tax planning and compliance engagements
• Conducting tax research using online tools
• Assisting with IRS and tax authority correspondence on routine matters
• Collaborating with team members across various client engagements

• 1–3 years of public accounting tax experience (preferred)
• CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA license
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with tax software (CCH, ProSystem fx, etc.) is a plus

• Exposure to a diverse client base (closely held businesses, individuals, etc.)

$65,000 – $85,000 base + bonus potential
